Sautéed Cabbage

Cabbage can get a bad wrap especially if you’ve only had it boiled. I recommend browning your onions before adding the cabbage to add more flavor.

Ingredients:

1 small head of Cabbage - sliced/shredded

1 large Onion - sliced

2 tablespoons of Olive Oil

Salt & Pepper to taste

1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar (optional)

Method:

Heat the olive oil and add the onions. Cook until golden brown. This may take 10-15 minutes.

Add cabbage to the onions and cook until soft. Add salt and pepper to taste. If you want to add a bit of sharpness, then add the apple cider vinegar.

This is a perfect side dish for any meal, full of flavor and easily reheated.
