Thanksgiving Recipes From You!

I've collected (and will continue to add) the Thanksgiving Recipes you share on our Appetite for Life Facebook Group.

Stuffed Dates

"I buy the plumpest Medjool dates I can find, pitt them myself (I find when you buy them pre-pitted, they tend to be dry), then just take softened cream cheese and stuff them. Sprinkle a little Turbinado Sugar – or a coarse brown sugar- on the top, and plate up! Sometimes, I drizzle hot honey instead of the sugar!" ~ Bettsie

Spiced Maple-Glazed Nuts

"Take a little over a cup of your favorite nuts, I like pecans. Add 3 tablespoons of real maple syrup, about 1/4 teaspoon salt, a pinch of cinnamon and cayenne. Mix together and bake at 375 for about 10 minutes. You have to keep stirring them so they don't burn. I've also made them in a non-stick skillet." ~ Mary

Cranberry Pecan Quinoa Stuffed Acorn Squash

This recipe was shared with me by Lisa and comes from Ambitious Kitchen. You can see the recipe here.

Whipped Feta Dip

"Mix together a block of feta (8 oz), a half block of cream cheese (4 oz), garlic powder, lemon zest, lemon juice, and a bit of olive oil. Serve with crackers or pita bread" ~ Sue

About Me

Hi!  I'm Jen

Cooking is a passion passed down from both of my grandmothers to my mother and then to my sister and me.

Throughout my career, I was always drawn back to food.  I've learned from experienced chefs, apprenticed with professional bakers, and tasted coffee with international experts.

Today I'm sharing those experiences with you.
